Beautiful environment, perfect atmosphere

From November to the following March, at the end of winter and early spring, visiting the hostel is as if strolling in the heavenly clouds in the misty skies of romance. In early spring, the garden is full of greens, which elegant cheery blossoms blooming. In early summer, the white Tong flowers cover the lands like snowfall. In autumn, maple trees light up the gardens with a poetic red. Located in the valleys and with the Sihu River flowing aside, the Walking Cloud is privileged with a rich ecosystem for fireflies. The hostel is like a young teenage girl with different appearances at different seasons, alluring all the attention.

The red castle was designed with the idea of Romeo and Juliet’s story, hoping that all couples that visited could have a happy ever after ending. The first thing to do arriving at the hostel is to pull the string of the ‘happiness bell’, and then follow the cloud angel sculptures leading towards the road of happiness. Perfect mood shall start from here. There are various dining areas in the castle: indoors dining area on the first floor where visitors dine like prince and princesses, and there are also outdoors dining area on the second floor, where sunshine or the starry skies are there for your pleasure. The hostel offers exquisite Italian and French cuisine in such charming environment where lovers as well as friends could experience the best of vacations here.

Chef’s menu: Baked salmon with almonds and kiwi sauce

Weekdays: NTD520 / Weekends: NTD550

Fresh salmon preserved with chef’s special sauce baked with almonds after brushed with beaten egg yolk. The skin is crispy while the meat in soft and juicy. It is totally refreshing when served with kiwi and mint sauce.

 

Chef’s menu: Roasted pork knuckle with honey mustard

Weekdays: NTD600 / Weekends: NTD640

The pork knuckle is pickled and steamed before fried till crispy and then roasted in the oven. It is crispy on the outside and fork tender in the inside. It goes well with braised cabbage or honey mustard sauce.
