The beautiful scenery outside and the atmosphere indoors

The Paulaner Brauhaus, located on the campus of the Taipei National University of the Arts next to Filmmaking Department, is a wooden floored outdoor restaurant that provides beautiful views of the Guandu Nature Park, as well as the distant 101 and New Taipei City area. Turn a corner, walk down some steps and you can sit yourself down on the grassy fields of the campus, walk on the meandering trails, as well as enjoy the various art installations displayed around. There are also cows grazing in this ideal spot for both children and adults.

The restaurant has two dining areas which differ from each other in design. On one end is a classic Bavarian-style room with high ceilings, a red bricked triangular roof, and traditional display of lights. The place has a very German countryside cottage feeling. Whereas on the other end is a room plastered with nostalgic movie posters and rows of couches to form a cinema cafe, going hand-in-hand with the Filmmaking Department. The restaurant, which emphasizes on Bavarian cuisine, contains an assortment of delicious appetizers, salads, soups, fresh baked German bread, exquisite desserts, and the traditional German pork knuckles and homemade sausages. To accommodate to campus lifestyle, there is also a takeaway counter selling Russian Kabisuo Ice Cream and bread for visitors to enjoy the campus environment and taste different dishes by the convenience of ordering takeaway.
