Rong Rong Yuan Ramen House
What’s best? Beef noodles!
The Rong Rong Yuan used to be a steakhouse, and only earned its fame after selling beef noodles. The shop is not spacious but the business is great. There are a lot of customers, for here or to go. Reservation phones keep on ringing during peak hours at mealtimes.
The owner said that apart from the most popular beef noodle, home-made side dishes and chilly-pepper sauce are also highly recommended! Its beef noodles are known for the tremendous number of beefs, while the quantity and chewiness of the noodles are perfectly right. What’s most special is the soup though, which smells extremely good and tastes refreshing. The price is not expensive compared to that in Taipei.
Noodles with special sauce:
Ramen drenched in home-made special sauce (mixed with chili bean and meat sauce), and sprinkled with green onions. It’s flavorful but not greasy, a very characteristic dish.
Brined dried bean curb, spiced eggs, seaweed, and pork slices served with soy sauce and green onions.
Local bred, delicate sliced beef. The soup is sweet and delicious, and goes great with the chewy ramen.
