THE OLD ENGLAND
In Taiwan, there is barely a bed and breakfast that could be compared to the classic and luxury of The Old England.
It is really an iconic spot and outstanding landmark in Qingjing. With the English-castle exterior appearance, vintage furniture, and exquisite artworks, visitors will just feel like Europe royalty.
YANZIKOU (SWALLOW GROTTO)
At Yanzikou, the rock cliffs of the Liwu River Gorge seem to reach to heaven while the river runs its swiftest and the distance between the gorge walls so narrow that they almost seem to touch each other.
Along the Yanzikou trail, you can enjoy the sights of the Liwu River from nearly straight above the water, the potholes on the cliff faces, the springs sprinkled along the lower parts of the walls, as well as the famous rock formation “Chieftain’s profile rock.”
Shakadang Trail is also known as “Mysterious Valley Trail” and was renamed to “Shakadang Trail” in 2001.
This trail is built along the river cliff so travelers can easily observe both the rock folds and plant ecosystem beside in the river valley. After 4.5km you will arrive at 3D Cabin –phonetic sound Sanjianwu, which is the favorite of visitors. After the first curve there is a deep pool with clear water that has enchanted many visitors. In May, it is the season when Tung tree flowers bloom, making the trail a pleasant flower hallway with flowers filling the air like snow flake.
SILKS PLACE TAROKO HOTEL

Baiyang WATERFALL TRAIL
The Baiyang Trail is characterized by the number of tunnels. Beginning with the entrance tunnel of 380 meters to the last tunnel before Water Curtain, you will pass through seven tunnels along the 2-kilometer trail.
Some of the tunnels are as straight as a pencil and you can see the light at the end. Others, however, are curved so that you will be enveloped in pitch-black darkness. Looking out of the tunnels from within, the lovely green mountain views are like paintings by a master.
Bilu Shenmu House
After enjoying a cup of their famous peach-flavored coffee, don’t forget to visit the largest and oldest tree of the area – Bilu Shenmu.
QingJing Skywalk, the longest and tallest skywalk in Taiwan, is your front row seat to the evergreen mountains and endless grasslands.
SMALL SWISS GARDEN
The beautiful Northern European atmosphere at the Small Swiss Garden has given it the name of “Taiwan’s Little Switzerland” and “Paradise in the Mist.”
The colorful flowers, bald-cypresses, red maples and LED artificial sunflowers of the garden give it a unique atmosphere. Yet, the feeling of the place can change dramatically, making some visitors come here for several times.
